Root Wifi tether cant access superuser

I manually rooted my phone a couple months ago and the Wireless Tether has been working fine. Then I got the message to update, which I kept ignoring. Then my kids got ahold of the phone and updated it. Since then Wireless Tether no longer works. I get a message that states " Unable to start tethering. Plese try again!". Other than the root the phone is stock. The build # is FRG83D. i am not tech savvay so please use small words

You lost root when your phone was updated to FRG83D. You will have to re-root your phone.

Take a look at SuperOneClick to -un-root and then reroot.

wow, I am seeing a lot of these threads...sucks that your kids downloaded the update. #1 reason why kids should not be playing with the phone.

I learned that lesson when my 8 year old daughter figured out there was a market and pulled down some "cool" games and such. Thankfully nothing that cost money, but now we have much more "supevised" phone use.
