WiFi Tether is fast :)

[SurrealOne]

I'm testing my WiFi tether and it rocks seems faster then before EC05 I also have a USB sprint air card both are getting over 1.5 but the WiFi tether seems faster then the USB air card. I'm not in 4g area right now
But this seems to be working great.

Same here, on 3G. Seems faster than my home DSL (which is extremely slow for dsl, I should add).

[chuhsi]

which program and version of the wifi tether are you using

[SurrealOne]

I'm using WiFi tether for Root users
VER 2.0.7
My phone is rooted with CWM3 and I'm running midnight 5.2 ROM EXT4

[chuhsi]

i'm on the same setup (journaling on) and my wifi tether isn't very consistent (works fast..then stops working...).

but thanks for the info. i may wipe and reinstall everything

Rooted phone, wifi tethering with Barnacle app. If there is a better app, please post it!

[SurrealOne]

I have not tried barnacle.. But I can tell you the (WiFi tether for Root users)in the app market seems to be the best for me.

I just looked. Both have 4.5 stars in the app market, and I have no issues with Barnacle, so I'm gonna keep using it.

[SurrealOne]

I'm going to speed test Barnacle and compare the too. Just for my own peace of mind

Cool. Let me know!
