Ive tried about every app i could find but to no luck. it seems like every app i try only loads youtube and facebook but not other sites. i read something about user agents and all thar but id rath have an easier way, is there something i can do ? About 3-4 months ago i tethered to every website , now it seems I'm limited to youtube and facebook & btw i have to do a research paper for monday & i have no home internet atm which is why i have this dilemma. so if anybody out there knows how to fix this, id appreciate it, thanks.

if you use Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-rg/ there you answer, that's the one i use, without it i cant event go to YouTube lol

thanks. im currently using it on iPhone mode, some websites show on mobile which is better than nothing & they do have desktop version so it's alright & thanks for the help :) btw is there an agent you can use that will give u the full web browser instead of mobile sites as default?

You could always dual boot Linux and Windows. That's what I do. They don't block Linux at all.

mind me asking are you trying to tether to a ipod or ipad? if so i have a easy solution.

As far as i know changing the user agent for the browser on your laptop is all you can do. i use an:smokingsomb:droid mode on firefox to tether. then look on the web sites homepage to switch to normal mode. you may have to switch modes with every site u visit. and yes we used to tether easierbut mpcs has ratcheted up control
