Root Wifi tether no longer working

Don't know why, but it just quit, my laptop and tablet can still see it the same as before, it just fails to connect, gets stuck on "obtaining IP address" then tether shuts itself off on my phone. Any reason why it might do this? What settings are last reported to work? I'm under Boost Mobile (Sprint) carrier and running just a rooted stock ROM.

Which tethering app are you using? I use wifi tether for root users. If you let me know I will give you a link to the one I use and will give you the correct settings for our phone.

Change the profile to ice WLAN 0 if not then the one under it which would be 1 and make sure the routing fix is checked also. If you need anymore help pm me and I'll give you my number to text and I'll help you. I had the same problem a while back.
