When I connect to my wifi tether my computer tells me I have limited connectivity. When I show log it shows me that the wifi drivers failed to load. Anyone got this working for the prevail?

I'm using the newest version of WiFi Tether from the play store.(yellow one). And yes I tried that. Set it up as indulge+soft tap. Any other suggestions?

After reading what you linked I just changed the channel to channel 6 and it works. Thank you very much.

You might have to change the DNS settings to match your phone.
I forget how to do it right now, but I think you have to use something like the terminal emulator app, do getdns and a list of numbers will pop up. Then you look for the two DNS entries that are close to each other and use those.
It will be something like
66.8.130.50
66.8.131.50
(These wont be the actual numbers, but they will be one number off like that.)
I'll try and find the link to do it, but had trouble last week when I was looking for someone else.

I get the wifi driver error still but it works for tethering the laptop. Speeds of .5MBps-1.2MBps.

I am having the same problem as well.
No errors are shown when loading wifi tether. My KF will show that it is connected but nothing can load.

I didnt see anyone mention this but you should use the WiFi tether app in the link about "Wireless Tether in Infrastructure Mode", and not the one from the Play Store. Although they look just about exactly the same, the one in the link is the better app. With the Play Store app, couldnt connect my tablets or other wireless devices. Just thought I should throw that out there

Huh I use wi-fi tether (from the playstore) everyday for laptop and my kindle fire and it works fine, go figure

Maybe they changed the instore app. I know back at XMas when I got my tablet, I had to switch from the store app to the web downloaded app. I guess if you say it works, they changed which one is available from the store.
I did just root my friends Galaxy S3 today and the app from the store did work for him, but I didnt notice when it was last updated.
