Root WiFi tether?

Hello just wondering if anyone has gotten root methods of WiFi tethering to work? I can't get "WiFi tether TrevE mod" to work I'm on boost Mobile new 10 GB plan and it would be nice to use my phone as a hotspot on my tablet as well when I'm out.

you can use FoxFi (from the Play store). It doesnt require root, either.

I'm using WiFi Tether too, works great.

Thanks guys it works really well. Wish I had unlimited but 10gb of high-speed data with boost will come in handy.
