wifi tethering

Hi Androidforum users, i got a question. When i tether to my ps3 i can sign in and play online just fine( on 4g lte btw) buy everytime i try to download something from the ps store it wont download. I dont have a computer to bridge the connextion via usb tether so is there a fix to where i can download things from ps store? Im not a tech savy person so try not to use too much computer talk :p thanks

generally most items from the PS store are HUGE items (up in the 700 megaBYTES area)

metro 4G is generally around 4 megaBITS per second

there are 8 bits in a byte.

so at that speed, it would be about 0.5 megabytes per second.

a file thats 700MB would take about 25 minutes (given consistant speed)

you probably wouldnt see much happening though.

On the flipside- online gaming relies more on something called "ping", not download speed. Ping is generally good in 4G which is why you're able to play games online but NOT download huge files

hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply, i was wondering because i need to download far cry 3's online passport which is only 138kb. Guess I'll have to wait to get it
