My partner has been playing on my phone and my short cut to my WiFi as disappeared how do I re install.

When you say shortcut, was it a widget you had installed to turn the Wifi on and off?

You can re-add widgets to the home screen by long pressing the home screen and finding the right widget.

You can also long hold items in the apps tray and that will put a shortcut on the home screen.
