Wiimote Connection on DHD

Hi, I know this not working is due to the HTC Sense UI and I don't know all the ins and outs of the restrictions causing the problem but do you think this will be fixed any time soon?

So frustrating to have such a top phone with all the emulators but not being able to use the Wiimote app! :mad:
 
Ether this is a repost and a half or no one else who owns a DHD on here seems to care about the HTC restrictions to play games with a proper remote on their phone? :p

Just simply search 'Wiimote Controller' in the Android Market and the very clear notes explain that you can link your wiimote via Bluetooth which you can configure the buttons but also lists which phones the app doesn't support.

There's also videos on youtube demonstrating it which looks great.

At last a solution! Thank you VERY much Sparker. I thought Zeemote was an app I couldn't find so didn't realise it wad an actual controller. The Zeemote site didn't mentioned HTC was supported (had all others) although i can see the notes on Blue IME app from the Market confirmed this so I'm quite chuffed! :)

Do you know how much they are roughly and where's best to get one do you know?

im confused. is there two parts to this controller? Because in the pictures on ebay there is only an analog stick and a trigger. Where are the action buttons?
 
The trigger button is split into two, and there is another button underneath making three, and that's plenty for most games. If you need any more you can use a combination of zeemote, virtual buttons and hardware buttons! The emulators allow you to show/hide whichever buttons you want or turn the virtual pad off altogether :)
 
Why does the WiiMote not work on the Desire HD, when it plainly works on many other Android devices?

Thanks! I've just realised that i've got a restriction on my Paypal account (waiting to validate it with the random amount they send you) so it should be sorted by tomorrow as the seller only lets you pay that way. :rolleyes:
