When does Dick Cheney get arrested?

LOL . . . NEVER and I'll bet that ticks you off, righty?

Actually, we need a presidential cabinet populated ONLY by strong conservatives. We need people like the Ann Coulters, Rush Limbaughs, Glenn Becks (as long as he stops crying and ditches that insufferable blackboard), Ronald Regans, Mike Medveds, and others of the world; each one responsible to the American people and President Dick Cheney.

Just say No to Liberals.

Bob Maxey

Sarcasm, support, or would you rather be elsewhere? :)
I chuckle and proudly proclaim THAS HOW WE DO IT IN THIS FINE COUNTRY

hahahaha:D

guy is a tool anyways LOL

AAAAND free speech? he's not even American so who gives a crap. LOL (yes i'm aware that's not how it works.)

Cool, cool. I was just curious. :)

Yeah...I just remembered Assange is an Aussie.

Not as familiar with the case past a cursory looky see. But I will comment anyway.

The woman came forward screaming rape. OK, do you suggest that she is lying? Perhaps she is who knows? I hope you are not suggesting that the Wikkileaker should not be arrested after a rape complaint was issued, do you?

I think anyone that leaks government documents should be looked at. There are national security issues to consider. What was in those hundreds of thousands of documents? Not too sure. Perhaps this man should be in jail for his protection. Some countries might decide to make an example of the leaker and that can be very bad for him.

I am not sure it is a free speech issue because we simply do not know what is in those documents. If some provision of the National Security Ace were violated, he should be arrested and jailed. Let the courts decide if he was within his rights.

Bob Maxey

The rape thing I find to be very convenient. Nevertheless, it really has nothing to do with the leaks.

Again, I agree with you that if he violated some law he ought to be locked up. No argument there. However at this point, he has not been accused of a single crime in the US. Without even accusing him, much less charging him, with a crime, the feds have leaned on people to take down his web site and seize his domain name. You don't think that's a bit heavy handed?

You're stuck on the free speech issue when it doesn't apply to this case. Once again, this has nothing to do with Mr. Assange expressing his opinion. It has to do with him publishing stolen documents. Mr. Assange can make a website and rail on the U.S. all day long, telling the world what a bunch of losers we are, saying Obama is a despot, saying he's happy the Twin Towers were taken down. That's free speech. What he is doing is not.

Hey, it just occurred to me and perhaps those that follow the exploits of this abject fool can freely correct me if I am wrong, but for the longest time, the Wikkileaker took pride in telling the world he leaked stolen or illegally obtained government documents and posted them for the world to read.

Seems the free admission and pride he takes in his guilt sort gives us the ability to move a bit faster; that is, faster than we would be required to if we needed to get court orders and subpoenas.

Hopefully, the Israeli Government will Gerald Bull him. I can see most of you asking Mr. Google who or what a Gerald Bull is.

Bob Maxey

Hahaha lol

Why do you ask? And I don't mean any harm friend, :)

I have been to Dubai... crazy place with women rights being abused every second... rich place but crazy...only rich because of oil... nothing else though but sand.

Mozambique... also crazy (You can get an AK-47 and some ammo for about 50 rands or about 9 dollars in Mozambique) but beautiful place with abundant natural resources... but the people are crazy...too many liberation movements... they need to wake up...

Lesotho... crazy place too...and Swaziland (nice place actually... I likd the people there) ... hell this whole continent is totally nuts....

The best place I have been to is Australia very nice people there... I am thinking of immigrating there... very nice people much like the educated people here in South Africa.

Have you ever heard of the Tikoloshe? Our "awesome" President... Jacob (******ed) Zuma... believes it exists.... AND HE IS OUR PRESIDENT... crazy hey?

Tikoloshe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I once visited Arizona.

I LOVED the Land Down Under (Ozzies / Australians)... lovely people there.

Even if they annihilate us in rugby games sometimes! Hahahaa lol. But that's cool I guess! :)

Hmm no offence to any1 here, but maybe you guys need to chill out a little bit.
I mean no harm.

It's okay to not agree but keep it civil guys ;)

So if it was top secret information about corrupt government officials it would be ok. But if it's just routine classified cables about us using diplomats to spy on people, it's not?

The once was (and likely still is an analog) an organization that worked in secret during WW2 (I think it was WW2, and I cannot remember the name of this group) that had a very important job. They were tasked with reading. Books, newspapers, other periodicals; as well as listen to radio broadcasts of the day. Their goal was to ferret out traitors to this country by looking for key words and phrases that could indicate a spy, by combing through thousands of documents and articles and such.

This group was a secret United States Government Agency. I mentioned the four words that peak the interest of the unlearned conspiracy nuts that automatically think that when you combine the words

Once again, if you can prove that the guy has violated a law somewhere, then go charge him an prosecute him. At this point, they haven't even accused him of a crime. You can't punish someone on the basis of what might happen because of something they've done that may not even violate any laws.

You and I have the benefit of not knowing what the government(s) involved know. Also, he admitted to what he did, so that must count for something. Apparently, you see conspiracy around every corner. You cannot accept that when a woman files a rape charge against you, you are arrested.

As for taking down his site, it contains classified materials. What the Frock should we do? Should my pedophile web site remain up until a court tells me, yes, you did wrong? Or should it be stopped immediately.

For the record, I have no pedophile site. I want all pedophiles castrated posthaste.

Bob Maxey

So, the New York Times and the Washington Post should also have their domain names seized the feds should lean on their web hosts to drop them right? 'Cuz they also published the wires that were leaked.

Google is not a private business. It's a publicly-held corporation. Therefore all the thousands of stockholders have a right to know everything about it, including the search algorithms.

No, I do not think so, and kindly self-educate.

Just because you own stock in a company, you do not have unlimited right to know everything. Obviousluy, you are not a stockholder or own a business.

Proprietary secrets are off limits to stock holders because THEY DO NOT have a right to that information. Stockholders are not privy to certain financial plans because most people simply cannot keep their mouth closed and the potential for damage is great.

That's pretty funny...a cabinet populated by gasbags, unindicted felons, lunatics and a dead guy. Yeah, that'll do it.

No worries Bob Maxey. The line about Google was rhetorical. I was making that statement using another's logic regarding the supposed freedom of Mr. Assange to release the documents. My point is that the government is entitled to proprietary secrets as well.

I'll have to look up Gerald Bull, but I know full well about Fat Man and Little Boy.

1- Who is the gasbag?

2- Unindicted felon? Oh, Mr. Limbaugh and his pill issue. You need to read more, I should think. As Martha Stewart says, "Facts...it's a good thing" I think if you are a felon you have already been indicted. Just a guess from a fellow gasbag.

3- Lunatic... Who is the lunatic? Or Lunatics?

4- A dead guy can do a better job. All one has to do is start foll9owing Regan's policies and all will be well. Well, almost all will be well.

Bob Maxey

The libs are better? You'd rather have Al Franken, Pelosi, Reid, Rangel et al. with absolute power?

What a list of great Americans. Too bad we do not have time to compare our lists of lunatics, gasbags and felons. Wonder who will look better in black and white?

Limbaugh, Coulter, Beck and Medved qualify as gasbags. Beck qualifies as a lunatic. Cheney is the unindicted felon. And wowser, you figured out on your own who the dead guy was.

Paypal, Visa and Mastercard have stopped processing payments to wikileaks under government pressure. The Department of Homeland Security wants wikileaks declared a "terrorist organization." The feds are currently leaning on Facebook and Twitter to pull their respective wikileaks pages. Facebook has told them to pound sand (yay Facebook!!) and Twitter has refused comment.

Once again, the guy has not been accused of a single crime here in the United States or a single crime anywhere in the world that's related to leaking these documents. How is this not an over reaction?

None of these secrets are really proprietary. The vast majority of the cables leaked aren't even classified. None of them are top secret. They're basically open secrets that everyone knows, but no one talks about.
