Help Wildfire HBoot Problem

Hi,
Today I started having glitches on my wildfire
i.e. sound level would beep as if I am trying to press the vol up button.
I have decided to reboot it. after I have switched the phone off and turned it on again, it did not boot.
Instead it opened the HBOOT mode (screen shot attached).
Phone does not react to any buttons.
I have removed the battery and when I've switched phone on again, it went to the same HBOOT mode again.
It does not accept any input via power button, vol up and down do buttons, they just do not work as controls in this mode, despite the message:
<VOL UP> to previous item
<VOL DOWN> to next item
<POWER> to select item

Can anyone help?

FYI there is also a message while hboot is loading - no image, no image found etc.

it's fixed... i have some sound buttons problem.
Though if i restart my phone after 'recovery' it loads back to hboot.
