Help Wildfire Message tone

I did everything i was suppost to do, i know how to set my ringtone with music, and i also know how to get to the sms and put music on there and such on. but after i put music in my notification folder, what do i do next? I still can't figure out how to put music as my text message ringtine.

After you put your music in your notifications folder, it should automatically appear when you are selecting your notifications for sms, if your not reboot your device and try it

when i text on my htc wildfire my notification sound goes off! how do i turn this off!!!! PLEASE HELP

Are you using GoSMS or any substitute messaging app?
If you are then you can easily change it by accessing the settings on GoSMS or whatever

If not then are you sure your notification sound isnt the same as your sent message sound? If it is you can also change it through the settings

Ok, now that youve made your sub-directories, just copy and paste your music files into the appropriate folder e.g. if you want a specific alarm tone, just paste that music file in the 'alarms' sub-folder
Now that thats done, just change your ringtone, alarm etc. When you see that menu of all the various songs available, your song should be there if the process you had followed was correct

Could someone please tell me how to copy my Voice Recordings from my HTC Wildfire S to my PC? I can't see any directory for voice recordings when I set it up as a Disk Drive. I know you sometimes have to add folders but I'm unsure what I need to call it.

Any help would be very much appreciated :)

Ok in your sd card you should have a folder called Audio with these folders inside that folder: notifications, alarms, ringtones.

After pasting your desired music files into the notifications folder it should be fine, if it doesnt appear try a reboot (most changes are immediately noticed after a reboot)

If that doesnt work then maybe download GoSMS from the android market, you have a section where you can change your notification sound
