Help Wildfire router connection problem

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using an Edimax AR-7084gA router to connect to my parent's talktalk wireless internet on my Wildfire. The phone connects to the internet, and works fine for a while, but after half an hour or so the connection stops working. On some applications like Facebook for Androis I get an error message that says something like 'the host is unresolved'. I then switch to mobile internet. The wifi connection starts working again after a while and the cycle starts again.

I've connected to a lot of other routers, mostly bt homehubs and the one O2 supplies, and had no problems, so the problem doesn't seem to be with the phone.

I hope I've explained clearly enough... Any suggestions on how to solve this would be much appreciated!

its a old router i suggest an update if you can afford it.
You can get a high speed router 802.1N for like

Sometimes just rebooting the Router will solve these problems. Power down the Router leave for about 30 seconds power back on and test again.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I've now managed to mess up my phone with the 2.2 upgrade, but will give these a go once I sort that out.

Well Belkin wireless Router N1 does not work with HTC phones their support told me that I hope ANdroid 2.3 will fix that ...
