Help wildfire s digitizer problem

hi , ive just fitted a new digitizer to a wildfire s and can now only get any response from the left hand side of the screen , if i use my spare hand and touch the screen above anywhere on the right the screen will recognize when i touch below ??
please help

Do you have a warranty for the phone? If you do I would suggest you get it to the HTC people. Doesn't hurt right?
Sorry but I really can't help you either I don't know anything about phone hardware but maybe that'll help you

ok unlike the others in the forum im a hardware kinda guy.. and it sounds like you broke part of the ribbon..could be undetectable by your eyes or its only half plugged in.. try another digitizer..

I have the same problem this is the second digitizer i have had to buy the first one i broke the ribbon cable on accident but it takes me nearly 10 tomes trying to just unlock the think and some keys while im texting don't always work, there is also a system update that i cant seem to install i have downloaded it and when i go to install it, it seems it gets stuck at a screen with a triangle and an exclamation mark in the middle any idea what that is about??
