Help Wildfire s on Orange

The signal boost keeps dropping out, does not always reconnect and when it does I cannot make or recieve calls although the wifi works fine. Am on the fourth handset from orange and getting desperate. Have change the router and my partners blackberry works fine.

I have the same problem with the signal boost. It works sometimes and other times it only shows the red house. The WiFi signal also needs to be very good for it to activate.

Ditto as above, although upgrading to Android 2.3.5 seems to have helped a little bit. There is no pattern to when the signal boost drops. One minute, the house icon is green, and then next time you look it's red. It doesn't matter if I have a full battery or < 10%. What I've found seems to work most of the time is to switch off handset for around 5 minutes (via soft reboot, not removing battery). This normally results in a green house again. Quite annoying overall - will phone Orange to see if it's the phone.
