Root wildfire s tech help

ok so my girlfriends wildfire s kinda lacks on storage, internal memory... can it really be so low that she can only put like 6 apps on her phone and its full... please some one help..
also it glitches a lot when she unlocks it. would rooting it salve most of these problems? it made a big difference rooting my esteem....
 
It wont even let me update it because the memory is so low. if i do root can i still keep the s?

What do you mean will you keep the s? Wildfire s will always remain wildfire s. See it more as being given admistrator rights if you root it. That's all :)
 
i know what rooting is i rooted my esteem.. from what i looked up about rooting the wildfire s is u have to go into reboot mode and turn the s off so it can take the root

No you will still be S-ON but you will have to unlock the bootloader from HTCdev. Unless you use xtc-clip. Then you will be S-off.
 
so go to htcdevand d.l the htc sync? this seems a lil more harder then rooting my esteem

Read the guide. It has nothing to do with how much memory your phone has available. You can update from your PC via USB cable or from the sd card.
 
so go to htcdev and read the guide and it shows u how to root? swwet thanks... gotta double check on it i cant mess up my girls phone i dont want to have to give her my esteem hehe
