Will 3G work on T-Mobile USA?

Hi, I bought my unlocked HTC desire a couple of weeks back. .. Im in Dubai now and will be returning to USA soon and I'm using T mobile there. Will I be able to subscribe to 3g services or will i have to use EDGE only..

Specs -
HTC Desire - A8181
HSPA/WCDMA (900/2100 MHz)
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)

Nope. You need a US sold phone to work on US 3g
