Help will battery work after wet?

to make a long story short after a long friday night i left my spare battery in my pants and of course i washed them with it in them. Then i tossed it into the dryer.

so i was wondering would the battery work still? im kind of concerned i pop in the battery and my phone explodes or sumthing from the moisture

Actually, the heat from the dryer would do more damage than the moisture. Put the battery in a bag of uncooked rice for a day or two to remove all the residual moisture. Then try charging it, but keep checking it every few minutes and if you feel your phone getting excessively warm. Unplug it and remove the battery. It's done.
