Will current DInc batteries work in the DInc2?

Just trim these tabs and make sure the batteries are not the touch pro 2 batteries and it will work upside down. obv it will be less than the standard 1450 that comes with the inc2. I have tested both the incredible standard and the eris standard both work.

the Inc2 is now listed on HTC's website. It says it has a bigger battery than the Inc1's had. So those batteries may or may not work.

1450 on the new one

1300 was what the Inc1 had in it.
 
ok a bit of an update today. i used both of my 1300 maH oem Incredible batteries with no dice. so im ??? at this point, they all turn the phone on but they have an ! in battery meter
 
My Seido 1750 BARELY fits, but one corner the backing won't snap on. I may look and see if it has those corner tabs for removal.

Update: IT WORKS! Filed off the corners and Voila!

The only batteries I have other than the stocker on my old DInc are Touch Pro 2 1500 clones off ebay. Those won't work, for sure, even with that mod?

i tried the tp2 battery the wHr was too great for it to even recognize. stock inc 2 batteries dont even work.

Well FML, carefully snipped one of my 'bidallies' 1500s and though it fit ok, The battery indicator showed a "!" ... so I am SOL it seems! Thanks anyway folks!

not necessarily what you need to do is order an incredible 2 battery from the internet (vzw) and then ship the bidallies back in the package to get a refund.
