Help Will drivers conflict?

I have a Galaxy SIII, with the appropriate drivers loaded on my computer. A friend has asked me to help her root her LG G2. Of course this means that i will have to load a set of LG drivers. Will this cause a problem or conflict with my installed Samsung drivers?

i wouldnt sweat it because of the fact that chances are you will have to uninstall reinstall drivers again at some point and time because of touchy they are. bit of advice though ive been in same position as you rooting someone elses phone on my pc UNPLUG YOUR PHONE if its connected to pc...when i rooted my nieces phone i forgot i had my phone charging to pc and when i rooted her turned out i was actually rooting my already rooted phone caught it thankfully...my phone was 99% fine just would boot and instead of boost and sammy logo would show script running lol good luck rooting

No, since the Samsung driver doesn't have an LG phone s one of the things that triggers it. (You have at least a dozen drivers installed in your computer, for all sorts of devices. A device brings up the driver it was written to handle. Your printer driver doesn't interfere with your Samsung driver, does it?)

Thanks for the quick replies.
dmcjr22, I supposed that I've been lucky with the Samsung drivers. I've only installed them once, about 2 years ago, and have never had a problem with them. (Now, where is that piece of wood I should keep close by?) I've read some horror stories, but I've been extremely fortunate. Thanks though for the reminder to only plug one phone in at a time. I can see myself doing that and really screwing up.
Rukbat, while my printer and phone communicate really well, my 2 printers do not. Sometimes, out of the blue, when printing, things will jam and there is nothing to do but shutdown and start over. I've learned over the years that some drivers do not play well with their siblings. I just chalk this up to Windows being Windows.
