There are guides here that will help you. Being as you have 2.1, make sure you read that thread.

Fresh has said he will be releasing the Kitchen for 2.1 eventually (no time estimate).
I'd root it manually anyways. I personally ran into a problem trying to root 1.5 with the kitchen (probably my fault), but I did it manually with no issues.
