I tried searching for an answer to this, but there's too much crappy info out there and I couldn't find anything specifically on this in here. I inserted the card in to the phone and it won't recognize it at all. The option to mount or format are grayed out. I restarted the phone with the card in it and no luck. I was going to try and format it from my PC, but my 10 yr old laptop..I'm surprised it even had the slot..won't recognize it either.

Is that a new card? I've had to reformat mine 3 ways over before. Windows, then Linux, then the Android phone itself
