Hi,first time here...Problem is i removed my SD card out of galaxy tab to add music to it and my wife picked it up and was going to use it. she said it would not come on..so i confirmed that it won't come on.also tried holding power and up volume buttons in order to reset but still nothing happens. also when plugged in to charge the battery icon shows then has a yellow symbol on it.... any ideas what happened???? Thanks Robert

I have the same problem, my tablet won't turn on. I have been charging it for 24 hours. A picture of the battery came up once. But now I can't even get that. I've tried holding power button, holding it with the up volume button and holding it while touching the screen , still nothing. Can anyone help.

assuming they are Tab 2 7's, have you checked the output of the charger?
are you using a mains charger to USB to Tab? Or PC USB to Tab?
USB charging is very iffy with regard to power, if your battery has gone very flat you might save it with a decent charger (5 watt).
Also how old is the Tab - Li-ion batteries are not as resilient and are more "delicate" than the old NI-Cad's, they are better in most way's but do not like being completely flattened at all.
There are instructions elsewhere on the forum (good ones) for replacing he battery - depends how technical you are.

Thanks hkmk23,
Did order a wall charger and cord frm Samsung, thought that was the problem. Bought it used last year so it could be the battery, son played on it until it was completely dead .
