Help Will nto turn on???

I just purchased by HTC EVO 4G 3 hours ago and already it will not work. I tried to take a photo and the flash went off and then a blinking light as I was trying to charge it since it was new and now it will not even turn back on.

Anyone have any suggestions....Sprint is closed already.

Have you tried to take the battery out and reinsert it then turn it on?

Are you holding the power button for 2 seconds or so to turn it on? (that was an issue in early evo's)

Is the battery dead? Hooked to the charger?
