Will Pokemon Go increase monthly data caps?

I'm pretty sure that it's well known that to use the app, you must have internet. Do you think with millions of people using it, that it will encourage carriers to increase the montly data caps / lower the price of "unlimited" data plans?

I saw something about Magenta offering free data for Pokémon. I didn't read the article though. I got better things to do than chase a bunch of silly creatures around lol

Tmobile is about to make it free data.

It doesn't use much, but it certainly adds up esp if you have more than one person in your family using it. Looking at my stats the past few days, knowing my wife plays too, we're going to bust our limit.

Yeah it's surprisingly low for an app like this. But there's no way any carrier will change their plans because of this.
