Root Will rooting solve my wifi disconnecting every 10 mins?

I've reached the end of my tether with this wifi nonsense. Been looking at rooting but not sure if it will help. Am i better to go back to froyo at least that version came with working wifi!

Unless there is something physically wrong with the handset, then none of the custom ROMs have anything wrong with them WiFi wise so it won't be an issue.

Do you have low signal? Im sure the stock ROMs have a low cut off threshold which is fixed in custom ROMs if i remember correctly
