Will someone test activesync?

Since the phone is now out oversees can someone test activesync for us in the corporate world? Preferably exchange 2010 SP1? :)

Thanks!

I have tried the email application on the Android 4.0 emulator (AVD) that comes with the Android 4.0 SDK. I'd have to assume the version on the Gnex will be about the same (if not exactly).

The email program connected to my company's exchange server. It seemed to enable the remote wiping feature (didn't test) and enabled the PIN lock screen. (Good so far)

It seemed to start downing messages and than stop. I think it was set to sync up to 3 weeks back. It seemed to get about 2 days of the oldest messages in this range and give up. The emulator is pretty slow, maybe it just timed out?

I change the sync time to just get a few days of messages. It then did get the latest messages. I'm cautiously optimistic after that worked. I liked the email widget and the UI of the email application itself. (similar to the Blur email app on my X).

I didn't test much more than this. Installing and running the SDK's "AVD" is pretty easy - you should try it.

Yeah,
My school just switched over to www.outlook.com, and while the Blur corporate sync works on my Atrix 4G, the stock android email app (on my old N1 running stock Gingerbread) does not. I'd love verification that the ICS email app works with outlook.com (LIVE) accounts... I'll try that emulator maybe later tonight...

Which version of exchange were you using? Thanks

My GN arrived today. I now have my email/contacts/calendar sync'd nicely from my exchange server via ActiveSync - it's 2k10 sp1. No problems whatsover.

Cheers.

Will the exchange email client on nexus do html email and signatures? Thanks.

i just took delivery of GN yesterday - syncs Email and Contacts but no Calendar items. Uninstalled and re-installed but still no joy.

If anyone can point me to a solution, be very excited!

just tried a fix - when I unticked 'sync gmail' and 'sync uk holidays' it asked me to add my exchange calendar - did a refresh and all good!

hallelujiah!

I just came from a Blackberry and have Activesync running with Office 365 right now but have some Calendaring issues. My meetings show up in the Calendar app, but when I open one up, I only see 8 lines of the body. This very annoying as I don't see conference phone numbers or passcodes or other details. I can't find any settings to tell the Calendar app to pull down the full details of a meeting. Have any of you experienced this?

Thanks.
