Will the Dec 11th update be Android 2.1?

Like the title says. Do you think that the Dec 11th update will be Android 2.1 or just a OTA update for 2.0? There have been pictures of 2.1 floating around on the Hero. Just curious to know your opinion.

doubtful. I mean, maybe, who knows. But from my understanding the Dec. 11th update is to fix some of the issues with the Droid specifically, not android 2.0 in general.

Google did say something about 2.1 before the end of the year though. Christmas present anyone?

From my understanding, I thought it was just some bug fixes with the droid and some other little things to add to it.. like a few little goodies.. maybe I'm wrong though and it is 2.1....

No. It will be a 2.0 update.

Possible 2.1 on Jan 22, but unlikely.

several sources have said 2.1 will be before the end of the year. 2.1 will be a bug fix for Android 2.0, nothing really spectacular. Like I said, the 11th is more Moto Droid specific
