Will the Desire get htcsense.com support along with gingerbread?

To have access to HTCSense.com you need the New version of sense... The Desire is most likely not to get it as its System Partition is only 250mb so chances are it won't fit, as Desire HD ROMs have to be stripped down to fit on the desire... However saying that, the Wildfire S will have the new sense and it has the same internal memory as the desire. I think it would be silly to have such a great phone not supporting it. my guess is it probably will receive new sense, but we will have to wait and see :) hope this helps :)

Until the Desire S is out we won't know what it will/won't get but if the Desire S can have the new Sense there's nothing to say the original Desire won't

I don't see why HTC would go through the trouble of developing a special Gingerbread firmware with the old Sense specifically for the Desire. I doesn't make any, well, sense...

I heard we were getting the old sense :(
Really sucks as we have the same internal memory as the wildfire S. Ow well rooted my phone and rocking inzertcoin so have new sense already! And with my extended battery I'm getting 26 hours between charges on heavy use
