Will the Nexus S be able to use PSX Emulator?

I only ask because it seems like you need to have a properly formatted SD card for that, but the Nexus S doesn't have an SD slot... so....

I am (going to be) a first time android user, and I would like to know if the Nexus S can run emulators. Thanks for the help.

I don't see why it wouldnt...it would run it well to my guesses...I played FF7 on my tab and it ran well...id expect the NS to be even better

You don't need to format an SD card a certain way, you just need the bios and the ROM, done. Of course it can run the PSX emulator.
