If ART was intended for developers then why did Nexus 5 owners get it? Highly doubt they are all developers. The excuse given for its omission from the Nexus 10 was dumb.
I say IF because there is no confirmation it will get it, or even if it does, whether or not we'll even notice anything having changed. We will get the version number but that's it. Standard fare lately. Updates that bring *nothing* new and are a waste of time. Kitkat didn't change a thing other than lacking color in the notification icons (seriously why?) And a worse looking lock screen music widget. Everything else was stripped out. The version of kitkat on the S3 looks, runs, and acts exactly like Jelly Bean 4.1.2. Nothing new happened. Note 3's version of L will likely look, run and act just like 4.3 or 4.4.
When I update the software I expect to see something, notice something. But lately Android updates tend to leave me asking 'why did I update this again?' Seriously why are people so dead set on having the latest version if nothing changes? The last time Android got a major change was from, 2.3 to 4.0. But I'm seriously tiring of having to root and ROM a device to get everything which should come with the update to begin with. Those days should be a thing of the past.
