Will the Rezound w/ Extended Battery cover creak?

I have the extended battery cover on my Rezound and I can make it creak. But it's something that I have to try and do. Normal everyday use no problems.

I like the feel of the extended battery case but bear in mind I'm 6'5" so what seems a good fit to me is not to others.
 
Has anybody found a case for the inductive charging door that is also bigger like the extended battery door?
I wonder if the rubberized case for the extended battery door will fit on the phone if I use the inductive cover instead, both are bigger than the stock
door.
 
My only complaint about the battery covers in general is that I tend to interchange the high-capacity one with the regular somewhat often, so I'm concerned that the tabs that hold the whole thing on may eventually start to wear. Otherwise, I have no complaints - it's big, but certainly manageable.

Yes the back plate comes with the battery and you can get a bumper from htcpedia to help stop the creaking sound. Since purchasing the bumper I dont hear the creaking noises and it even helps with pressing the power and volume buttons. Give it a try the extra girth is worth it. Fits better in my hands.

Mine doesn't creak. It does feel a smidgen more loose, so it comes off and on much more easily than the stock rear. Not so much that its a problem, though. It feels perfectly solid when it's installed. Definitely not a "bargain basement" rear cover.
 
All this talk about creaking battery covers... just get a 32GHSmSD, some 3M double-sided tape for both sides of the battery, and some clear removable silicone to seal the cover on. Whamo. Of course, this is coming from the guy who is putting his screen protector on in the clean room of a NASA subcontractor's Main Assembly lab.
 
Not sure if I'm experiencing "creak", but there definitely is a "pop"/cover not being held solidly in place type sound. I feel like i notice it more because of this thread haha. Hopefully a case will help.

Mine is driving me nuts also. HTC even sent me a new back cover and did not help at all. I hate to exchange this phone because so far it's been almost perfect other than the back cover creaking. One thing I have noticed on mine is that the battery does not fit flat in the pocket where the battery goes. If I press on let's say the bottom right hand corner the top left side will pop up. It rocks in the pocket. With the back cover on and you put any pressure anywhere on the back it makes a creaking sound. I have tried different thickness of paper to try to stop it but have had no luck so far. I guess I will have to have it exchanged and take my chances. Also it does the same thing on the extended battery.

That's my experience too. I'm not hung up on the creaking. I've have the extended battery which is a great convenience but it makes the phone a bit heavy. With the standard I sit by a computer all day at work so I can always charge it via usb. At home my wifi gives the battery copious life so the standard is clearly the best way to go. I'm not sure what I'll stick with. Since I got the extended for just 25 bucks it can sit and I don't feel bad about it. I also enjoy the fact that you can use a case with the standard but with the extended its a bit of a problem.
 
I went to the Verizon store this afternoon and let them look at my phone and see if they could figure out why the battery rocks and does stay flat and let them also check out the creaking back cover. They tried a different back and a new battery and had the same results. Also they had 1 brand new phone in stock and they got it out of the box and it did the same thing. One of the sales guy had the Rezound and he got in on the conversation and we checked out his phone and it was fine. Before I trade this one in for another one I am going to try putting piece's of paper in different places to see if I can get it to quit creaking. If that does not work I will have to do an exchange.
