Its not f*cking kandy kane... >.< As I said before, purposely misspelling it would be stupid.
Also, its an LG device. Its not getting 4.1. LG would have to be a better company for that.
Ok it doesn't have to be kandy Kane but it needs to start with a k or they will break the letter sequence e,f,g,h,i,j,k
At Google I/O they were saying key lime pie.... pretty sure it's the obvious choiceI can almost guarantee is keylime pie.
You mean the 32GB version of the Nexus 7? Its been released. Even in stores. Want proof? I took this last night at a store I work for:I just read that Google is going to announce an update (Android 4.2) in their next event on October 29, and release nexus 7.
It is not unheard of from phones getting 2 major updates. When I had gotten my thunderbolt it had froyo, and six months later or so I got Gingerbread. They are waiting on ICS now and have been confirmed they are getting it.
All manufacturers are slow on updates. The reason? Fragmentation in the Android eco-system.yeah next time im going with a droid or a samsung for my next device cause they seem to always get updated when they are suppose to
It will be interesting to see if the razr gets it. Vz is still promoting the bajesus out of that phone, so if any device were to get 2 updates, I'd put my money on that one.And again, this is an LG device. Not HTC/Motorola. Find me an USA AND Verizon LG device that got 2 Major OS updates.

Prior to that, no other phone has received 2 major updates.
And we'll said about the fractured android ecosystem... Android stock ROMs are like snowflakes... No two models are the same.

MAJOR updates... Like froyo to gb. No phone went from froyo to ics an no phone went fromFascinate: 2.1 > 2.2 > 2.3
OG Droid 2.0 > 2.1 > 2.2
2.0>2.1 is still eclair. it wasn't a major os upgrade.Fascinate: 2.1 > 2.2 > 2.3
OG Droid 2.0 > 2.1 > 2.2
I think you miss what we're saying. No manufacturer has pushed 2 major updates to a phone and by major updates, we meanThe hero cdma came from cupcake and upgraded to eclair.. They've got nightly jb lol its runs smooth for that phone too![]()

well while you guys are saying phones rarely get 2 major updates others of us have already given examples of that being whats actually going to happen. I told you guys about a press release from motorola that the razr, bionic, and droid 4 will all get jelly bean. This comes directly from motorola. All those phones started with GB. That means they will end up with 2 major updates. It may very well be that the spectrum doesnt get it, but to say "it's absolutely not going to get it because no phone ever gets 2 major updates...or this and that and/or such and such" is pure speculation.
Again, time will tell.
