Will there be a memory card included with the Inc?

Well, some trustworthy people on here have said it's coming with 8gb of onboard storage (NOT a microSD card). It does have a slot for microSD but since it's already coming with so much storage, it's possible it won't be sent with a card at all.

I thought that there was like 256mb for apps or something on the Droid. The card was just for stuff that the user wanted to put on it for music, photos, and so forth. I don't think that it will be sent with a card since it already has the onboard memory. You can get microSD cards now though for cheap online. Just go hunting!

You'd think if there was 8 gig on board that the specs sheet in the owner's manual would have mentioned it.

i checked the UG and it wont come with a card. :-/

Even though it says "sold separately" it could still potentially come with one. I'm pretty sure that the user's guide is written by the manufacturer, not the carrier. The carrier can still modify what comes with the phone. I'm almost positive that my Storm UG said that the card was sold separately, but it came with one. The Vodaphone version didn't.

Yeah it's doubtful, not to mention you don't want it to come with one. Not only would it be cheaper to get one in amazon, they'd get the slowest (cheapest) of it's size. I'd rather get one on my own that will be faster at writing.

I've looked at the user manual and other sites... I don't think it will come with one, but it's alright considering it has 8GB of onboard storage.

How is the SanDisk 16 GB Class 2 microSDHC? Is it worth the extra money for a Class 4 because it seems like that there are a lot of fail issues with this model.

Don't 90% of people already have a memory card by now? I have an 8GB in my EnV Touch that barely gets used. I hate when they force those kind of things on you... I just end up selling it on eBay anyway.

yeah, i have one. it's a really bad 4 gig kingston one, though. i want to get a good one since im about to drop 250 for a new phone...

My Eris came with the Class 2 8gig which is extremely slow, my Dare however came with a Class 4 8gig and I could noticabley see pictures load much faster on the class 4.. I'll be getting a class 6 32gig when the incredible is released

good luck on finding one

How does the class effect the card?

Nevermind : It's amazing how much one can learn off of ebay. LOL

Anyone know what class card the droid came with? Just curious...

Has there been documentation of that?

Yes, in the user manual. It says:
Storage card
Store your pictures, music, and applications in the microSD card (sold separately).

Also, on the specs page here, it lists 8 GB moviNAND storage, which is an embedded memory device made by Sandisk. This means that the 8 GB storage will be internal, and there is a separate SD expansion slot.
