Root Will there ever be a simple one click root for TB?

I got it! I didnt unzip the exploits in to the right folder, Im on the last part right now uploading the new PG05IMG...

Running thunder and lightning rom now, so far so good! Backed up stock rom, now it's similar to working my old droid x.

I've read all (well most) of the posts. I am coming from a rooted dx, with z4root. Really liked one click - but the big deal was one click flash to stock. All I really want is to root so I can have the tethering for free. Okay, maybe rid some of the bloatware. Okay, and some eye candy - can you say watermark'd?

This is all I'm looking for too. Root to get wireless tether, maybe a few things like font changes and screen capture.

I was considering waiting for a simple one click root method but after meticulously going over the adb instructions I realized that it wasn't as bad as some people made it out to be. I was able root my TB and remove most of the bloat that was just annoying me. Next step is taking the plunge and loading a custom rom... :D

no,its really not. getting adb set up and getting it to see your phone are the hardest part of it

i messed around with adb and my eris getting ready to do the manual method, then decided to do the "easy"root instead. in retrospect the manual method would have been a bunch easier, especially after getting a lil experience using adb.
