Root Will this phone get full root?

I've been waiting on the Nexus rather patiently in hopes of comparing the phones side by side myself, but I really want to take advantage of the "double data" deal that ends on Wednesday. I really like the Rezound and would choose it over the Nexus IF I knew the bootloader would definitely be unlocked with full access to kernel modifications. It seems like that knowledge is as rare as the drop date of the Nexus so I'm asking all of you:

Will this device get full root access AND have its fair share of devs to produce custom ROMs, or is that a pipe dream and I'll be stuck with a partial root much like the crappy X2 I'm toting now?

I think it will get cracked but there is no guarantee

there are CURRENTLY a good bit of good Devs on board for this phone.

however I honestly think that if this phone didn't get root I could live with it as is.

I think the bootloader will be cracked, I am pretty sure devs won't just drop this phone and jump to the nexus, yes some will get it but remember usually devs have a version of each phone they dev for so they will need to buy the nexus, if they already purchased the rezound that could be a big investment in phones in just a month.

I've got mine ordered and I'm waiting for delivery. After being an Eris then Inc user, I don't know that I can live without tinkering! I know there are a lot of great developers working on it and I've got my fingers crossed.

I've been considering a jump from Sprint and my EVO4G now that Verizon is offering double data.

From what I can tell, this is HTC's newest 4.3" phone based on the EVO flagship model of deployment. Am I correct? Is this HTC's best phone out right now?

Whether or not we can root it will be a deciding factor in my switch.

IMO, Yes! I've been an HTC fan for a while but since I'm loyal to Big Red, I've only been able to look at the EVO as a dream. I've used the Eris and the Inc and I'm now the proud owner of the ReZound. I'll be very glad WHEN full root is achieved but the phone is a great phone stock.

most of the current devs will move to the nexus. this will get s-off but i bet it will be well into 2012 before it happens.

myself im trying to win a free razor so i can sell it and get either the rezound or nexus.
