Sounds like a sweet phone...... It'll have to be rootable for me to buy one and if data is tiered I'm hosed.
Well, if it's coming as soon as the article is saying, I'd say it probably wouldn't be 4G. VZ 4G network still needs a lot of work, but idk. If it's 3G you can just keep your current (unlimited) plan and upgrade to the Tegra (assuming it's any good). For me, it would have to be vanilla android with froyo, and rootable. I need to be able to remove all the bloatware that will surely come on it :/
. Even if it don't though, I will prolly get it. I'll be due for an upgrade by then. My Droid has served me well, but it's definitely starting to show its age with all the apps I have one it and constant redrawing still (even after doing the local.prop memory fix), it's getting old having to do all these optimizations just to keep it responsive.
My Droid is very unresponsive (I know it's the price I pay for having a custom froyo rom, but I can't live without froyo - but it was a lot better when I was on a custom 2.1 ROM) but anyways, I'm sick of waiting 5 secs for the homescreen to load and constant lag. I could OC but I need battery life as it is. I feel like my Android experience would be a lot better with an updated phone
So I'll have to see how it is first when it comes out. It's funny how I just realized that I've had this phone for almost a year....wow. I must really love this phone.
