Help Will this work?

A friend really likes the flashlight app that came on the MT4G. The flashlight app that came with his android phone only does on or off.

If I put the flashlight.apx file on his phone will it work?

Lmao...are you serious? You CANNOT brick a phone this way. First of all unless its a htc phone or running htc rom this won't work on his phone! Secondly using htc flashlight on non htc phones can damage the phones led flash.

Yes, I was kidding about bricking the phone - chill man!

...put down the caffeine, and step away. NOW!

Hey, behold_this is just explaining it to you. He doesn't want you breaking the flash on your friend's phone, and being in a tough situation.

Don't be rude to people who are helping you out.

Whoa, thread meltdown... >.<

Anyway, I had this app on my HTC HD2 running a ported MT4G Rom and it worked fine on that phone.

Not sure (as stated above) if it will work on non-sense ROM's or other Sense ROM's.

As I stated, just give it a shot. :)

Like I said...you are using a sense rom on a htc phone so it should, of course, work. But please heed my advice, even if the app loads and runs on a device doesn't mean you are not seriously degrading your led, but hey to each his own. Remember the app can damage the led even on the phones the app is pre installed on if you use the maximum setting for extended periods.
