Root will update unroot automatic

so i rooted with unrevoked 3 if i take he ota update tomorrow will it unroot me and if it does will my stuff get deleted
 
theoretically you will not lose root but why chance it. and even if you lose root, nothing will get deleted only root only apps will not work
 
If you remember, it took about a month to find a root exploit for 2.2 so why chance taking an ota if you are rooted
