Will vzw drop price from $299

Can you use it as a verizon upgrade? I was chatting with verizon support and asked about the amazon deal. They said there are hidden fees.
 
I got mine at Sams Club for 98.88. Best deal I was able to find. The only "issue" is that it only comes in Grey. They were able to use my upgrade just fine.
 
They will drop the price when the S4 comes out. I asked a rep because I want to get another N2.
 
Radioshack just dropped the price to $199. Much better than Sam's, amazon, etc as there are no hidden fees or extra contracts. I know amazon and Wal-Mart online both require an extra termination fee for the first 6 months, and don't allow you to change to a lower prices plan as well. Radioshack has none of those.
 
I think in general it is easier to find a good deal on a phone when shopping for a new contract as opposed to renewing an existing one. Unfortunately I have my cell phone bundled with verizon, so switching carriers is probably not worth it. That won't stop me from calling them to complain that they are charging me 300 when some can get the phone for 100 or 200 less
