For now we have 4.1.2. We will get 4.2 sooner or later as that brings some serious goodies for tablets - like new widget system on lockscreen and multi-user support.

EDIT: Only Nexus devices have 4.2 for now, so I see now reason to complain about not having it yet.

What difference does it make if you can install it from European versions/ US versions depending on what model you have?

Nexus will NEVER get you what you have with Note 10.1
