Will we get the Hero in the US

No exact date is set, HTC said it was going to be released this year.
So I'm guessing (according to Android time)... May-June release.

Do you think it will work on Tmobile? or will it be for a different carrier?

I read somewhere that the US will get Hero towards the end of the year. I personally think that T-mobile will sell only 'by google' phones. Maybe because of the OTA firmware updates. Hero might be a good place for AT&T to join android/oha (just hoping here Sprint or Verizon might want a piece of this as well.

I watched a vid on CNET of an HTC employee...he mentioned they will be bringing the Hero to the U.S. but the carrier has yet to be named. I'm hoping it is AT&T?
