Lots of amazing Android devices out there... will you buy the Nexus 6P, go for one of the current alternatives out there, or are you waiting for something even better to be announced?
Just purchased the Nexus 6P a week ago today on Project Fi. So far I'm loving the phone (love stock Android) and the Project Fi service, though most of my usage so far has been over wifi. With Fi using both Sprint and T-Mobile towers, the service in my area seems as good or better than what I had with AT&T.
If you are able to switch to Project Fi, Google allows you to pay for the phone over a two year period.
My invite to FI only took a few days. Plugged the card into my 6P, forwarded my calls from my att plan and had no problems to speak of. One small area would sometimes drop calls with FI but so would att. I used FI for 2 months and finally ported my att number over. Love FI service and am saving over $50.00 a month. Especially like it when I see that $29.00 bill from Google. As far as comparing a Samsung device to 6P? No comparison. No delays with the pure android device as with an overlayed Samsung. I did miss the stylus of the Note... Until I started saying, "OK Google, remind me of a doctors appointment next Thursday at 3 pm." Don't miss that stylus anymore!
