Will you switch to a Sprint iPhone in October?

Will you get an iPhone?

iPhone 5 will include Sprint According to the WSJ (Wall St..... bah! sorry, back to the story), Sprint has an agreement to offer the iPhone 5.

Will you switch?

No. Never owned one and never will. I enjoyed my Android experience from day one and it fits me just fine.

Why would I downgrade? Unless Sprint is paying customers $200 to trade in EVO 3D's and Photon's for one of these, I see no benefit.

I'll never say never. Right now, my Android suits me more than the iPhones. I probably won't change my phone for another year and a half or so. We'll see what's available then.

Nope Sprints service sucks in my region.

and besides the EVO I don't really care for their selction of phones.

I wait for the Bionic please.

thanks for the answers, folks.

I will wait and see what the specs are, but I will probably get a better Android (I have the lagging-ly challenged Samsung Transform). I no longer use the physical keyboard, so it's heavier than I really need it to be, and my screened cracked on a simple drop like I've done a hundred times with other phones which didn't crack, so I'm less than pleased. I'll probably go with whatever is the highest rated at the time of the iPhone release, and since I'm sure it will cost $200-300 to get one, I'll more than likely get an Android for somewhere between free to $50 at Best Buy and extend my contract for 2 yrs. Not going to say never, because I might get the iPhone, but I doubt it unless they really make the 5th generation one great and it is under $200.

Good point, IMHO.

Right now, Android suits my needs, but I will never be one of those "Android ride till I die" type people.

Honestly, iOS has grown on me, but some things -- like iTunes -- are serious barriers for me.

With all the crap Apple has pulled over the last year, I refuse to give them any more of my money. Just like how I refuse to watch a movie with Tyler Perry in it, If we keep giving these people our money they will keep coming back while getting worse, and worse.

Android keeps getting better, and better so I think I will stick with that for quite a few more years. Plus as a bonus I get to chat with all the friendly people around here.

There are two reasons why I will not switch to a Sprint iPhone.

1. It's Sprint. I'd go back to AT&T before I touch them.
2. It's an iPhone. Until iOS or WP7 offer on-device file management and the ability to hook up to a PC as an external storage device without requiring synchronization to a desktop client (iTunes, Zune), I won't even consider them. These things are meant to be mobile PCs, so why do we need to tether them to a PC for full functionality?

Major laffos at the Tyler Perry thing.

Anyway, Apple products are great. There's a reason they sell so well. I have a huge problem with the way they do business, so at this point I would not buy an apple anything. I also prefer Android exponentially.

I will take one for free, then blow it up and post it on you tube. But i might get sued by Apple because they have a patent on blowing up an Iphone.

Nope. I gave the I5 pretty serious thought for awhile on Verizon, but to be honest, the fact that I can run MIUI and make it look 99.9% the same as the Iphone and very nearly (obviously will never be perfect) as smooth as the IPhone itself really makes it less of a want to me. The GS2 is what I'm waiting on, though the HTC Vigor and Nexus Prime (and Bionic if its unlockable) are starting to tickle my fancy too. It'll come down to either the Prime becoming more of a rumor or which of the other two come out first.

Nope. Don't want an iphone. Even if I did, Sprint sucks for my needs. I need cell reception in extremely remote areas (where I travel for work) and Sprint doesn't go there (had a phone with Sprint for a while.)

I didn't see anywhere that T-Mo was getting it. Perhaps after they're bought by AT-T they'll get it, by default.

But I think the original idea is that Sprint is the only US carrier that still gives true unlimited data. But as a Sprint customer, I really wish they wouldn't get the iPhone. The iPhone has always lead to tiered data.
