Finally got caught up on this thread.... went through all the pages since i last posted back in nov :eek:

sucks cause i used to go through here and DL all the ones i like. now i need specially made ones :(

Did i ever ask for the star wars/indiana jones in rezound resolution?

Shame on you! Don't you know how badly I crave attention?!? :D:p

Yeah, that Rezound sucker needs a pretty damn big resolution wallpaper alright. It really pushes the limit of what I'm able to do as far as complex, multi-layer stuff goes.

Anyway, no, you haven't asked for those before. Have you tried either of those on the new phone? Are they really pretty shabby looking? 'cuz I don't think there's much I can do to make 'em look better at that kind of size. The original elements used were picked because they worked well at a 960x800 resolution. pretty tough to go back and make everything try to work for a 1440x1280 wallpaper.

Sorry man, but I think you're outta luck here. Maybe if you go back to the DInc... :p;)

If it looks fuzzy, you may be better off viewing it from a computer, right click and "save as", and finally transferring to you phone via USB or email.

I am new to the forum and would be eternally grateful if you could create the logo for my sorority for my Bionic and Samsung tablet 10.1. The sorority is Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. You can google the logo. is this possible? i could not get it to fit the phone screen.

Sure, I'd think that should be doable. Any thoughts on what you'd like for a background on this one? Light, dark, pattern, picture etc.?

I made this in 2 sizes for you - 1080x960 for the Bionic, and 2616x1920 for the GTab. I'm not quite sure the Tab one is the right size (different sites list different wallpaper resolutions...) so let me know how it works. If it seems off, I can try it at 1920x1200.

To save them at full 1080x960 & 2616x1920 resolution - Follow the links bellow and long press the image on your phone and/or tablet until the save option pops up, Then find it in your photo gallery and set as wallpaper. If it looks fuzzy, you may be better off viewing it from a computer, right click and "save as", and finally transferring to you phone via USB or email.

Looks great but a little too big for the bionic screen. Great background! How can I keep it from moving as i swipe to the next page/screen? Cannot see the ribbons on each side. The rest is beautiful.

So, the Tab one is good, and the Bionic one is off, eh? Didn't see that coming... :o

As for the wallpaper scrolling, that's what most Androids do. There's no way I can make a wallpaper not scroll. Some like it, some don't. Since you don't, give an app called "Wallpaper Set and Save" a try. It has a setting for no-scroll wallpaper. I'm not sure this will work on the Tab, but good luck!

Dowloaded the app but could not find setting for no scroll wallpaper. smaller size wallpaper is great. getting close. Still scrolling. i put it on the tablet as well.

Okay. Dowloaded the new app and I thought it worked but it would not keep the setting. So I had to use the launch pro. It changed my home screen but the logo is front and center. I will live with that.

An alternate launcher was going to be my next suggestion. Glad you got it looking how you wanted. And, you're welcome!

Of course I would rather be the talk of your sorority, if ya know what I mean, but if you are it, that's ok too. :D:p;)
 
What other launcher were you going to suggest? The logo on the tablet gets off centered when i scroll screens. I did not use the launcher on the tablet. And...stay tuned, you may still be the talk of the sorority. I and certainly going to show it off!

The launchers I like best are Go launcher EX (which I use on my GTab 7") & ADW launcher EX. There are many other launchers/home replacements, search the market and see which one you think has the features you want.

One of those 2 sizes, 2616x1920 or 1920x1200 should be correct for the GTab 10.1. Simply increasing the wallpaper size isn't going to make much difference. What matters is the aspect ratio and the area, if any, you select to be cropped. Just in case you don't know, you can adjust the wallpaper crop area when you are setting it. Just touch, hold and drag the edge of the crop box to center, enlarge or shrink the area of the wallpaper you want visible.

If that's not helping achieve the look you want, I can make the logo larger or smaller if you'd like. Let me know which size is the closest to what you'd like, and what adjustments you'd like.
