I'm no Braves fan either, but I figured after what Kent Hrbek did to Ron Gant in the '91 series, I owed one of their fans something.

For those that don't know what I'm talking about... From Wikipedia:

"Hrbek was involved in a controversial play with Ron Gant in Game 2 of the 1991 Series. While Gant was coming back to first base after widely rounding the base on a single, Hrbek applied a tag on Gant's leg, Gant ran into Hrbek, and when they collided they fell off the base. The umpire, Drew Coble, called Gant out, ruling that forward progress would have caused Gant to step off the bag. Gant angrily disputed the call and had to be restrained when Coble refused to change it. The commentators at the time remarked that it appeared that Hrbek had in fact lifted Gant off the bag and that his 235 pound frame helped him lift the lighter Gant who weighs only 172 pounds. The move was later nicknamed the "T-Rex Tag," after Hrbek jokingly speculated on a post-baseball career in professional wrestling using the name Tyrannosaurus Rex. When the Series moved to Atlanta, Braves fans jeered him, and Hrbek received much hate mail, including a death threat."

This is 1080x960 the best size for the Droid 4. To save it in full resolution - Follow the link bellow and long press the image on your phone until the save option pops up, Then find it in your photo gallery and set as wallpaper. If it looks fuzzy, you may be better off viewing it from a computer, right click and "save as", and finally transferring to you phone via USB or email.

I managed to make it full screen and 1440
 
Easy as cake to install. Did so and smiled ear to ear. Friggin love it. Looks great, crystal clear. I moved some widgets and whatnot around to clear my home screen completely so it can have all the glory itself. Already shown it to two friends, one replied "that's awesome, fits your phone perfectly" and the other said "that's a bad-ass wallpaper dude".

I mean no criticism whatsoever, but a stadium-like seating filled with androids waving team flags/foam fingers/etc in place of the black background would take each of the team-themed wallpapers to the next level...not requesting it or anything, maybe just my creative side speaking, but if you wanted to challenge yourself on the next team-themed wallpaper...
Again, I love it...100% happy, no complaints at all! Thanks a bunch.

I've thought about doing something like that, but man, that'd be a LOT of work and I don't even know if I could get the perspective to look right. The other thing is I think most people would think it's just too busy. I'd think that icons could get tough to see.

IDK - *maybe* I'll give it a shot when I've got some time... If I do, I'll of course let you know. Either way, thanks for the suggestion.
 
Yeah, again..my creative juices got flowing. I think it would be too busy as well. Maybe stadium seating with a few androids in the stands...maybe a scoreboard in the background showing 'the big play'. Something to fiddle with perhaps. Wish I could get into this kinda thing, much respect for the work you've done!

As for the seats idea - could be tough to do and have it look right (unless you're ok with empty seats...). The problem is that it needs to wrap around the end zone a bit or it will seem out of place. A quick search didn't give me any end zone crowd shots I could use. I'll keep poking around a little and see if I can find something good, but we'll see.

ok eyebeam I have one for you finally! :D

I played around myself a little with this one...added the android and played with saturation and contrast a little..(though I take no credit for the ACTUAL wallpaper design in the background or original blue colour..that was Hadron over at the Desire forum..least the colour anyway..the design is MIUI)...

aaaaaaanyway...

what I would like you to do beamy is to add a camera on a strap hanging fron Andy's shoulder if possible...the sizing and colour are important at least in same aspect ratio as andy himself..

also if it can be a SLR or retro style camera that would be great...not a simple point and click digital snapper...no no lol

Sure Dean - that shouldn't be too tough. I assume you're going to put an invisible camera icon over it, right? If so, can you post me a sot with an Icon place where you want it, so I get get it lined up right?
