Root WiMax Issue with CM7 (and other AOSP)

So I just went back to CM7 and am having an issue with WiMax (also had it on OMGB). It turns on for a few seconds, then turns off, and repeats this cycle. Any ideas on how to fix it? I'm willing to experiment if there is not a known fix, but would prefer to try conservative methods first, so if anyone has suggestions I am all ears.

Thanks!

How is the Wimax quality in your area? Keep in mind that building penetration with Wimax sucks. I'm running tiamat 3.3.7 and my connection seems fine when I try to use it.

Would flashing radios work? I've never done that as I am nervous about bricking my phone, but if it could fix this I would try it. Any other ideas?

Possibly. You can find the radio's, pri, and nv, here. 1.77 has always worked best for me. Flash like you would flash anything else but individually and not all in the same recovery session (ie: go to recovery, flash nv, reboot, go to recovery, flash pri, reboot, etc...). Don't forget to update your profile afterwards.

I figured it out, but not exactly sure why it was happening still. I was using Juice Defender and I tried uninstalling it just in case it was interfering. Sure enough, once I got rid of it I got a strong lock on 4G. No clue why it was happening though as it works fine with sense ROMs, but both CM7 and OMGB had the issue so I am thinking it is a problem with AOSP ROMs?

My daughter was using that with the photon and it would randomly turn wifi and 4g off and on. I had her delete it and all was well again.
