the title is fine they have it working on cm 6 so why would it be misleading because the public doesnt have it? if he said wimax on cm 6 released then yeah i could understand.

Anyways, some of the people in this forums has not heard of the wonderful news of having 4g on CM6. So chill out.
I'm sure cookie_monster was just sharing of what he has found out about CM6 development of 4g. Like anyone else that is a fan of android development would do.
Anyways, keep us posted cookie_monster on what you've heard. If I find something I'll also post it as well. For the haters, just simply skip this thread.

I absolutely loved CM6.1 on my HTC Hero. Turned a nearly useless slug into a phone that is actually useful. Can't wait to see what it's going to do to my EVO! I've got great 4G coverage in my area so this was a deal breaker for trying CM on this phone.
Thanks for the heads up! Just donated to devs that made this happen, too. Love to support these guys for doing valuable work like this.

i love how people come in here and piss in everyones cornflakes. haha, what a bunch of douche bags.
anyway, i am also very excited about this. i live in a non 4g area so ive been on cm for a while now and love it. i used to be on fresh, although cool, not the rom for me. i love aosp and am not looking back! sense is cool for the "flashiness", but for me, the true release of android muscle is in an aosp rom and cm has released it! i would flash the alpha, but school is starting soon and i wont have time to nandroid, flash, reboot....etc. like i have been doing over xmas break. mega props to the devs for cm and getting 4g up and running!! i will diff. be flashing it once its stable so that when i am in a 4g area, i can use it instead of using 3g dial up.
