Winamp for Android (beta)

Has anyone downloaded this from the market yet? I have only just downloaded it, and haven't had a chance to use it properly yet, but it looks awesome! It has already got last.fm scrobbling featured too.

I was a massive Winamp fan when I used Windows, so this excites me.
 
Anyone trying out the new Winamp music player app? I downloaded it today and it looks promising. The interface is very clean and the widget is very handy too. I have to download winamp later and see how the desktop application syncs with this new app. It also supports wireless syncing. Looks like this might be a winning combination.

If anyone tries out the sync between desktop and app let me know how it goes.
 
ive been playing around with this for a while now......
its runs very smoothly...
the only reason i'd still use 3 over this is because of the album art lol
is there a way i can get album art using this app? i havent managed to find a way so far..
another suggestion for this app would be to be able to control your winamp on the computer using your phone...
ive got lasik which does this... but it would be better if the winamp player would
 
Good find! I just downloaded it and messed around a bit. I do see album art so no issues there. I love the lock screen control; a little clunky but it gets the job done! I just wish the widget was 4x1 instead of 4x2. Much harder to fit that pig on my screens.

I've been using Winamp for 10 years (has it been that long?) and I'm glad they got into Android.
 
The wireless sync was working great...until Winamp on my PC crashed :( I'll try again later. Wireless sync tip: Make sure your phone doesn't go to sleep while syncing or the sync will go muchhh slower.
 
Cannot set as default music player. Why? I have shortcuts to my playlists on my desktop, but they always open in stock.
 
It's a nice touch, Winamp goes a long ways back to 1997 or so, so the Nullsoft guys should get good at polishing this Android app and so far it's pretty decent, I like the sync idea.
 
Just upgraded my Winamp to 5.59 beta.

My Desire will not connect; "connecting" dialog starts the message "Something wrong with connection" appears. 192.168.1.69 from ipconfig on PC

I have my Desire connected to the Vista Pc via "Wifi File Explorer" so wifi between Desire and PC working using 192.168.1.70

Just Winamp app failure.

Any advice please?
 
Tried installing this a couple of times, but the installation is always unsuccessful.
Note: I have defaulted the install location of all apps to the SD card via this method.
Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions on this appreciated!

was liking it, but it all of a sudden started started cycling through all my songs and wont stop even after a reboot.
 
If you're looking for an alternate music program, this is pretty good. I've always been content with using the stock one, but since I primarily use Winamp on the computer, I decided to give this a try. It works very smoothly and integrates well (it also auto-loads music and playlists). There's some other nice features too.

i have been using it for a while. its really good actually. i was using cubed before this and i think the winamp app is even better
 
I like it so far. The lock screen player isn't really my favorite. I wish it could integrate with the HTC music player's lock screen. that would be sweet!
