Looks like winamp has finally come to Android. I've been using it for a few days now and it has been a very pleasant experience so far. It is still in the beta stages, even so it works beautifully. Shoutcast all seem to work flawlessly and I am able to let it play browse the web and download music all at the same time without a single hickup. It is available via the market or from winamp.com via your phones browser. If you already have winamp on your phone post your reveiw. If you don't have it check it out its nice to have one music player that will play mp3s or live internet radio.

i've had it since it came out a month or two ago.......

works well, like the format, they've updated the widget once to also include a smaller widget.. nothing incredible other than the Shoutcast integration, other than that feels plain vanilla, but a blast from the past so I like it!

Has anyone else noticed it KILLING their battery life? I used it for one day and couldn't believe how fast nut battery died. I took it off that night, and the battery rebounded the next day.

I haven't noticed any battery life changes. The only time I do notice a battery change, it seems to be a rom and or kernel issue.

i've been using winamp for awhile now and haven't seen really any battery issues.. i'll be out running in some cases for 2 hours and it has the typical battery drain you'd expect from constant use

I've used winamp w/ the Motorola MOTOROKR S9-HD while I work out... all buttons work, not sure about answering calls because i've never had to do it
